step 1 >> copier control enables copier, but will not count copies.

Check for bent pins on each side of the keyswitch.

Remove the copier cable from the keyswitch. 
Look into the keyswitch.  Check to see that no pins are bent.

If any pins are bent, straighten them out so they mate with the cable connector.

Reconnect the cable to the keyswitch

Repeat this procedure for the opposite side of the keyswitch, removing the keyswitch module cable.

Remove the copier interface cable from the keyswitch.

Look closely at the connections within the 12-position connector.  If any of the wires within the connector have come loose or are detached, contact Transaction Recovery Systems. 

A = faulty connection.

step 3 >> copier control enables copier, but will not count copies.

After reconnecting all cables, make some copies.  Look at the LED on the keyswitch.  This should illuminate with each copy made, indicating a pulse is coming from the copier. 

If the LED does not illuminate, check to see that the copier is configured to recognize an external copier control device.

If the LED still does not illuminate, contact Transaction Recovery Systems.
